AGA owners can now tell the world how they feel about their beloved cooker using a stylish new tile panel from Fired Earth that bears the legend ‘Home is where the AGA is.’

The hand-glazed and hand-decorated tiles are made from English clay by Sally Bourne and the panel is designed to fit behind any size AGA as you can choose which base tiles work best.

The words are glazed on to the tiles using a fascinating process developed by Victorian tile makers. Rather like icing a cake, the clay is piped on to the surface of the tile leaving a raised line. The tiles are then painted and glazed, with the tube lining acting as a barrier which prevents the glazes from merging. With the tiles themselves in cream and the AGA legend in black, the panel will look fabulous behind any colour AGA.
